IÓN SOLO CONTEST 2023
The 2023 IÓN SOLO CONTEST, is an International Solo Competition for all kind of performers who are working with the borders between physical theatre, contemporary dance, new circus, and other scenic languages. Looking for a hybridity on stage that engage nowadays audience, a research based and develop on the organic body understood as a whole, and seriously betting on creativity. Registration is open from 1st December 2022 to 10th March 2023.
The contest has a theme frame, meaning that all pieces must be related to it, in one way or another.
For this first edition the subject framework is based in this tagline:
«Thy waist as a mound of wheat surrounded by
lilies [A look at MOTHERHOOD]»
